Bílá Hora is the villa quarter of Pilsen 1 above the sandstone hill it is named after. The housing dates from the 1920s to the 1940s, functionalist villas among it, complemented by newer family houses with gardens. There are almost no blocks of flats, so it is nearly always a house that gets cleaned — and a house is priced by area and the number of storeys rather than by rooms.
Houses of that period have large windows, high ceilings and a staircase running through the building. Those three things decide the time: the staircase alone takes as long as a room, because the banister, treads and landings all have to be cleaned. Original oak parquet is never flooded — it is cleaned in sections with a product made for wood.
There are often ten to fifteen large windows here and some of them are original box windows. Those count as two, because they have two rows of sashes and four panes to clean. An ordinary window is CZK 199 per opening with a five-piece minimum; examples are in the window cleaning price list.
Pollen and soil in spring, leaves and mud in autumn. The most work is always at the entrance and on the stairs to the upper floor, not in the living room. For a household with a garden a fortnightly interval at 15 % off usually works out better than two deep cleans a year — the intervals are on the discounts page.
Rates for houses are in the price list and the scope is described on house cleaning in Pilsen. A flat, if you let one in the same building, is priced separately from CZK 959. An extra hour is CZK 319 and we say in advance whether it will be needed.
You can stop right by the house and nothing has to be carried. We navigate by the hill and the villa streets; travel within Pilsen adds nothing.
Down the slope are Roudná and Bolevec; the whole borough is on Pilsen 1.
No, it is part of house cleaning — but it is worth bearing in mind when choosing a slot: the banister, treads and landings take about as long as one room. That is exactly why a house is priced by area and storeys.
With a product made for wood and almost no water, in sections, dried straight away. A flooded board swells and cannot be levelled afterwards; repairing parquet costs incomparably more than cleaning it.
For a house with a garden, usually the fortnightly interval: 15 % off, and dirt never has time to set, so the visit fits its base time. Two deep cleans a year end up dearer precisely because of the accumulated layer.
