Fitted carpet cleaning in Pilsen

Fitted carpet is cleaned at CZK 85 per square metre, minimum order CZK 650. A loose rug comes to CZK 89. Book carpet cleaning

Why fitted carpet is cheaper than a rug

The four-crown difference per metre looks illogical but has a reason: fitted carpet is a continuous surface with no edges or fringes, so the machine moves in straight passes and the work is uninterrupted. With a loose rug there are also the edges, the reverse side and the floor beneath it — always more time on the same area.

Furniture is not moved out

Fitted carpet cannot be lifted, so it is cleaned where it lies and around the furniture. We move lighter pieces and clean underneath them; wardrobes and beds stay where they are — the carpet does not wear under them anyway. Clear the floor of small items and lift loose mats so they do not end up under the machine.

Edges and thresholds

Along the skirting and at thresholds a strip remains that the machine cannot take in full: that is done by hand with a tool. It is a noticeable share of the time in narrow corridors, so a corridor is priced by its actual area rather than by eye.

Drying

Four to six hours with a window open and the heating on; nearer six in winter. You can walk on it sooner, but in socks, so that dirt is not carried back into damp pile. Rates for other textiles are in the price list.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to move the furniture out?

No. We move lighter pieces ourselves; wardrobes and beds stay — the carpet does not wear under them. Just clear small items from the floor and lift loose mats.

Why is fitted carpet cheaper than a loose rug?

Because it is a continuous surface with no edges or fringes: the machine works in straight passes. A rug also needs its edges and reverse doing, which takes time on the same area.

When can I walk on the floor?

After four to six hours with a window open. Sooner is possible, but in socks — otherwise dirt goes straight back into damp pile.
