The oven before anything else

The one thing worth doing early is the oven interior at CZK 319. Before the baking starts there is no room for it in the schedule, and baked-on grease from earlier months begins to smoke at high temperatures. If you bake for St Nicholas, book the oven for the end of November rather than 20 December — by then it is full.

When to clean everything else

Two or three days before the guests arrive: not earlier and not on the day itself.
