The headboard is the main thing

Backs, hair and hands rest against an upholstered headboard for years, and that is where skin oils and hair products build up. Nothing shows on the fabric until you clean one half — then the difference between the two sides is impossible to miss. The headboard, not the sides of the frame, is most of the work in this service.

The bed and the mattress are two things

The CZK 825 covers the upholstery of the bed: headboard, sides and the padded frame. The mattress is a separate item from CZK 550 for a single and CZK 1,100 for a double — see mattress cleaning. Both can be done in one visit, and the CZK 650 minimum applies to the whole order, so combining them works out better than two separate trips.

What to do with the bedding

Strip the bed in advance and take the linen out of the room: extraction lifts dust out of the fibre and there is no point catching it with clean bedding. Storage drawers under the bed are best pulled out — the same things get into them as into the upholstery.

Drying

Three to four hours with a window open; four to six if the mattress is cleaned at the same time. Book a morning slot and you go to bed on something dry. Rates for other textiles are in the price list.
