From a cleaning point of view Božkov is a village rather than a city district. The historic core with its triangular green has been a rural heritage reserve since 1995 and holds baroque and classicist farmsteads; family housing has grown up around it. There are very few blocks of flats, so the overwhelming majority of jobs are houses — and those are counted differently.
Floor area and the number of storeys decide, not the number of rooms. For a Božkov house of around a hundred and twenty square metres with two storeys and two bathrooms, ordinary upkeep works out at half a day for two people. The calculator shows the exact figure; the rules are in the house cleaning price list and the scope is described on house cleaning in Pilsen.
The heritage reserve holds buildings from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries: thick walls, stone floors on the ground floor, wooden staircases and attics. Cleaning here is more careful and uses less water — stone and old wood hold moisture for a long time and cannot be “wiped dry” like ceramic tiles. Say in the order if that is your house and the team will bring different equipment.
Most households here burn solid fuel or have a boiler on the ground floor, and the spring clean shows it in the dust in every room. A spring deep clean is therefore the most common job of the year, usually together with window cleaning at CZK 199 per opening with a five-piece minimum — a house always reaches it.
Houses are booked for a whole day rather than for two hours, so the date is agreed in advance. Weekends work better here than weekdays and cost no more. An extra hour, if it turns out there is more work, is CZK 319 — and we say so before we start counting it.
You can park right by the house and stop at the door, so nothing has to be carried. Travel within Pilsen costs nothing even though Božkov is on the edge of town. We navigate by the green and by the old vitriol adits left from nineteenth-century mining.
Adjacent are Slovany, to the north Lobzy, to the south Černice.
The price comes from floor area and the number of storeys. For a house of about a hundred and twenty square metres with two bathrooms, expect two people for half a day; the calculator gives the figure before you submit and it does not change on site.
Yes, if you list them in the order and they are freely accessible. Moving furniture out and removing waste are not part of cleaning — that is handled as a separate item.
Yes, working with a minimum of water and no aggressive chemistry. Stone and old wood hold moisture for a long time, so we clean in sections and let each one dry as we go.
Yes, travel anywhere in Pilsen is included. The CZK 30 per kilometre applies only beyond the city boundary — to Starý Plzenec, for instance.
