Replacing fuses

Replacing a breaker or RCD in the consumer unit — 500 CZK. It is ordered when a breaker trips repeatedly, is damaged, or when a circuit is being added. A tripping breaker is usually not faulty — it is doing precisely its job. The cause is normally an overloaded circuit or an appliance leaking to earth, and replacing the device alone will not fix it, so we start with diagnostics at 1 000 CZK. In older flats an RCD is often missing entirely, and adding one measurably raises safety.
