Repair of beds and couches

Repairing a bed or couch — 400 CZK. Most jobs are creaking joints, loose slatted bases and a frame that has worked free — everything that can be pulled up, packed and stiffened without replacing the whole piece. Broken slats are swapped one for one. Worn-through upholstery and a broken load-bearing part cannot be repaired, and we say so straight away. On sofa beds the fault is usually in the mechanism rather than the frame: a pin jumps out of its guide.
