Installing/replacing an electrical socket

Fitting or replacing a socket — 500 CZK. It covers isolating the circuit, swapping the accessory, wiring it and testing. The commonest reason is a loose socket where the plug wobbles, or blackened contacts. Neither is cosmetic: a poor contact heats up and is one of the ordinary causes of flat fires. If you feel warmth around the socket or smell burning, do not leave it. If you are changing every socket for looks, order them together and it costs far less than one at a time.
