A complete kitchen clean including the insides of the appliances costs 1 649 CZK. Separately: the inside of an oven 319 CZK, an extractor hood 319 CZK, a microwave 165 CZK. Emptying and washing the inside of the cupboards is ordered on its own. A routine flat clean covers the units from the outside, the sink and the hob — not the insides of appliances, because those take their own time.
The oven and the hood. The product works on both at once, which saves time and spares the crew a second visit. If the flat is being handed over, the fridge and the insides of the cupboards are usually added too — those are the first things a landlord looks at.
Burnt-on residue is not dirt but carbonised sugar and polymerised fat: it does not dissolve in water and wiping does nothing to it. It needs a mildly alkaline product and time to act, so it goes on at the start of the visit and is finished at the end. The hood filter is soaked in hot water rather than scraped — grease bakes faster into the grooves left by a scouring pad.
In panel flats on Vinice and in Bolevec the kitchens are small and the appliances close together, so grease clings to the side of the units and the wall behind the cooker. In new builds on Bory glossy fronts dominate; they are washed with lukewarm water and polished dry, or streaks remain. Older flats often have an original unit with wooden doors, where water must not be overdone.
